Update, 11:50 p.m.: The person responsible for the shooting has been taken into custody, according to Clarksville Police.
Detective Neagos is the lead investigator.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – One person was shot Sunday night in northeast Clarksville.
At 7:16 p.m., Clarksville Police were called to a shooting on Suiter Road, according to 911 logs.
A man was shot in the upper body on Suiter near Sly Fox Drive, according to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media. He was was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to a Nashville hospital. No one else was injured.
Suiter Road is north of Tylertown Road near the Kentucky state line.
