Update, 11:50 p.m.: Police have determined the shooting did not occur at C&G Food Mart. The incident took place at Caldwell Lane and Maddox Circle. The woman who was shot was a passenger in a vehicle and was driven to the market after the shooting, Beaubien said.
She received a grazing gunshot wound to her head and is being transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a precaution.
The Clarksville Police Department is asking anyone in the area of Caldwell Lane and Maddox Circle who may have video surveillance or witnessed anything suspicious to review their footage and contact Detective Heath at (931) 648-0656, ext. 5223. Update, 10:35 p.m.: The victim received a non-life-threatening grazing wound and was not seriously injured. The shooting took place in the parking lot.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – One person was shot at a convenience store on Crossland Avenue Friday night.
At about 9:35 p.m., Clarksville Police responded to C&G Food Mart, 901 Crossland Ave., after receiving a 911 call regarding a shooting. When officers arrived, they found one victim with gunshot wounds, according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien. The victim’s status has not been released, and the investigation is ongoing.
Anyone in the immediate area with video surveillance cameras is asked to review their footage. If anything suspicious is observed, please call 911 immediately.
