CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A man was killed in a head-on crash on north Old Russellville Pike Friday night.
At about 11:30 p.m., a 2007 Infiniti was traveling north on Old Russellville when it struck the right rear quarter panel of a 1998 Chevy Silverado pickup that was traveling on Hickory Trace Road, according to Clarksville Police Detective Michael Patterson.
The Infiniti continued on Old Russellville, crossed into the oncoming southbound lane and struck a 2001 Mercury Marquis.
The drivers of the Infiniti and the Marquis had to be extricated from their vehicles, according to Clarksville Now news partner Dash 10 Media.
The driver of the Infiniti, Cameron Howell, 25, died as a result of his injuries, Patterson said.
The driver of the Marquis was taken by LifeFlight to the hospital and his condition was unknown Saturday morning.
Hickory Trace Road is across Old Russellville from St. Bethlehem Elementary School.
