CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – One person was killed in a shooting Thursday afternoon on West Concord Drive in Clarksville.
At about 3 p.m., Clarksville Police responded responded to a shots fired call at 110 W. Concord Drive and found two people with gunshot wounds, according to Sgt. Fontella Jones.
Shortly afterward, a heavy police presence was reported around the urgent care facility near Walmart on Fort Campbell Boulevard, and witnesses reported one victim being transported by a LifeFlight helicopter.
One victim died as result of his injuries, Jones said Friday morning. The other individual was in stable condition.
The name of the deceased will not be released until all family has been notified, Jones said.
