CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – One person was injured in a fire early Sunday morning at the Pembroke Park Apartments.
At 1:39 a.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue was called to the building on Ringgold Road in north Clarksville, according to Assistant Chief Michael Rios.
They arrived to heavy flames and smoke coming from the apartment.
“Firefighters were able to quickly put water on the fire, keeping the fire from spreading to the adjacent apartments,” Rios said. “The occupant of the apartment was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.”
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Rios said.
Fire crews from Stations 6, 7, 5, and 1 responded.
