UPDATE: 1 driver critically injured in crash on Fort Campbell Boulevard

Update, 8 p.m.: Fort Campbell Boulevard is back open and traffic has returned to normal.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – One person was critically injured in a crash tonight on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

At about 5:13 p.m., two vehicles crashed on Fort Campbell Boulevard (US Highway 41A) at Jack Miller Boulevard, according to Clarksville Police spokesman Scott Beaubien.

One of the drivers was reported to be in critical condition, but their status is unknown at this time, Beaubien said.

The northbound lanes of 41A are shut down and traffic is being diverted down Jack Miller.

Police are asking drivers to avoid the area.
