OAK GROVE, Ky. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) One person was killed and another injured in a shooting at an Oak Grove hotel Thursday night.
Police responded to a call of shots fired at around 7:00 p.m. at the Days Inn on Auburn St. just off of Fort Campbell Boulevard, where a woman was found dead. A male who was critically injured was taken to Blanchfield Army Hospital before being transported to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville.
Kentucky New Era said the deceased woman has been identified as Roshanda Hayden, 22, of Millington, Tennessee.
Officials do not believe the two were in the military.
WKRN News 2 reports that Ashley Cantrell, of Chatsworth, Georgia, was charged with tampering with physical evidence and booked into the Christian County jail.
Police have not released information about other suspects.
