The Clarksville Academy Cougars hosted the Goodpasture Cougars for a district volleyball match at Clarksville Academy on Tuesday. While Academy came out the gates strong, Goodpasture beat them in straight sets, 3-0.
Kirkwood High football traveled to Montgomery Central High School to battle it out with the Indians on Friday, Aug. 30. While MCHS battled throughout the game, the Cobras pulled away with a 35-7 victory, which moved the Cobras to 2-0 on the season.

The Northeast Eagles traveled across the river for a soccer match with the Indians at Montgomery Central High School. While both teams were even at one during halftime, the Indians scored two early second half goals to secure a 3-1 victory.
The Indians from Montgomery Central traveled to West Creek High School for an in-city volleyball matchup with the Coyotes. While West Creek would battle and win one set, the Indians would dominate the other three, winning three sets to one.

Northwest High running back Bricen Moore has earned Clarksville Now Player of the Week for week one of the 2024-25 regular season. Moore scored four touchdowns against the Fort Campbell Falcons this past Friday, which led to a 35-16 Viking victory.
The West Creek High girls’ soccer team took a short trip to Kirkwood High School for an inner-city matchup with the Cobras on Tuesday, Aug. 27. The contest was physical and went back and forth between both teams. However, neither team was able to find the back of the net, so the game ended as a scoreless draw.
