CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A former Clarksville teacher arrested on rape charges worked at West Creek Middle School.

According to Officer Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department (CPD), 27-year-old Brandon Kyle Hester was booked into the Montgomery County Jail Friday, Aug. 14. He was charged with two counts of child rape, two counts of aggravated statutory rape, and two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure. His bond was set at $150,000.

Court documents said the incidents occurred between January 2011 and October 2012. The victim was at least 13 but less than 18 years old. Hester was at least 10 years older than the victim at the time of the crimes.

While he was with CMCSS (2010-2012), he started an after school club to help boys that did not have a father figure, and the victim was part of that club.

Detective Fleming with CPD is concerned that there may be other victims.
