CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Produced by The Downtown Clarksville Association, First Thursday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour spanning a 5-block radius that combines visual art, live music, engaging events and more in the heart of Downtown Clarksville.

With 10+ venues, bars and businesses participating each month, the First Thursday Art Walk in Clarksville is the ultimate opportunity to savor and support local creative talent.

The August Art Walk will be held August 6 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the shops and galleries on Public Square, Franklin Street, and Strawberry Alley.

This month’s ArtWalk will feature D B Horns playing for Music For Mercy. Music for Mercy raises money to support the Academy for Academic Excellence, a school supporting special needs students.

Downtown Artists Co-op (DAC) is proud to announce our 4th Annual Regional Juried Art Exposition, an exhibit of fine art by talented artists from the Middle Tennessee/Kentucky area. The Framemaker proudly presents Golden Lights: New Work by Paul Collins. The exhibit is part of Clarksville’s First Thursday Art Walk on August 6, 2015. An opening reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The artwork will remain on display at The Framemaker throughout the month of August during normal business hours (Mon. through Fri. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
