Margaret Eleanor Paschall, age 91, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Walking Horse Meadows.

Margaret was born to the late James Newton Paschall and Josephine Halliburton Paschall on May 27, 1924 in Sango, where she lived until she moved to Channing Place in 1990.

In 1942 she graduated from Clarksville High School and was the valedictorian of her class. After graduating from George Peabody College in Nashville, she taught in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System for five years. From there, she was at Fort Campbell, KY, with the Civil Service until her retirement.

In 1934, she joined Sango United Methodist Church and was very active in various positions. She composed and typed the weekly church bulletins for nearly 50 years.

Funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, July 9 at Sango United Methodist Church, with Rev. Willie Lyle officiating. Burial will follow in Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday, July 9 at the church.

Margaret is survived by several first cousins and decendents of the Halliburton and Paschall families.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
