John “Duke” Wayne Woolson, 53, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015, at Gateway Medical Center.
Duke was born on December 19, 1961, in Oswego, NY to Wayne Willis Woolson and the late Nancy Jane Harding Woolson.
Duke was a Retired E-7 U.S. Army Veteran, having served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He was also a shop foreman for DynCorp.
Duke is survived by his wife of 31 years, Ursula Woolson of Clarksville, TN; father, Wayne Willis Woolson of Oswego, NY; two daughters, Jennifer Wright (Mike) and Samantha Woolson of Clarksville, TN; two brothers, Richard Woolson and Howard Woolson (Kim) of New York; sister, Kathy Woolson of New York; and Opa will be missed by his three grandchildren, Michael Ross, Kainen McGee, and Lucian Wright.
