CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Police responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and Terminal Road shortly after midnight Tuesday morning. Police say 25-year-old Kenneth Ronald Berry was killed after being struck by a Nissan Pathfinder.
The driver of the SUV swerved to try and avoid Berry who was in the southbound lanes. The victim was taken by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Berry, from Parkersburg, West Virginia, was a soldier from Fort Knox, Kentucky who was at Fort Campbell for temporary training.
