MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – Thunderstorms are expected to hit the Clarksville area Friday afternoon and evening as the remnants of Tropical Storm Bill pass through.
Krissy Hurley with the National Weather Service said this won’t be a far-reaching storm, but wind gusts could be as high as 60 miles per hour.
“What it’s going to bring to the Clarksville/Hopkinsville area: potential for heavy rain, thunderstorms, and some of them could be strong to potentially severe,” Hurley said. “The main threat is going to be damaging winds.”
