CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville man has been arrested for attempted murder following an altercation in a parking lot on Peachers Mill Rd. May 12.

According to an arrest warrant, video surveillance from Chum’s Market shows several people involved in a “gun battle” before leaving the parking lot.

The first victim told police 30-year-old Christopher Lee Eason put a gun to his head before he was able to knock it away. He said Eason then shot at him two or three times before turning toward the other victim.

The second victim said the fight began over a $300 debt while the parties involved were inside the store and then escalated when it moved into the parking lot.

The video shows Eason getting out of a white vehicle and approaching another vehicle at the gas pumps. It also shows him shooting at the second victim, according to the warrant.

Neither victim was injured.

Eason was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal attempt to commit homicide. His bond was set at $2 million.
