Timothy Dean Sorreles, 55, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Timothy was born on December 20, 1959, in Marion, OH to the late George Sorreles, Sr. and Jeanne Stephens Sorreles. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly J. Sorreles.
Funeral service will be held at noon on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Rev. Tim Wagoner officiating. Burial will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY with full military honors. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the funeral home. The family would like for the people attending the service to dress colorful casual.
Timothy was the Lead Pilot with Air Evac Life Team. He was also a Retired CW4 Pilot with the U.S. Army. After a short but valiant battle with cancer, Tim went on to be with the Lord.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 20 years, Davelyn Vogt Sorreles of Clarksville, TN; son, Shawn Moreland of Clarksville, TN; two daughters, Rachael (Andrew) Cearley of Sarasota, FL and Hannah (Clay) Miller of Marion, OH; brother, George “Butch” (Karen) Sorreles, Jr. of Bellefontaine, OH; brother-in-law, Gary (Toni) Vogt of Hawaii; two nephews, Brandon Vogt and Bronson Vogt; three nieces, Brittney Vogt, Niki Sorreles, and Kaysee DeLong; great nephew, Graycen Sorreles; and seven grandchildren, Jakob Cearley, Zachary Cearley, Benjamin Cearley, Amelia Cearley, Caleb Miller, Madeline Miller, Judah Miller, and one due in November.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Kisor, Butch Sorreles, Shawn Moreland, Clay Miller, Andrew Cearley, and Gary Vogt. Honorary pallbearers will be Jakob Cearley and Dale Cordy.
