Bertha Barefield, age 80 of Clarksville passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015.
Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 with the family present from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at The Liberty Church. Burial will follow at Fort Donelson National Cemtery in Dover, TN.
She was born February 7, 1935 in Anniston, AL to the late Marion and Lizzie Phillips. She is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Barefield.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory daughters, Denise Baltimore, Jacqueline Pulliam both of Clarksville, TN and Irma (Richard) Mason, Columbus, GA;sons, Jihad Abdul-Karim, Minglewood, NJ, Benjamin Barefield, Ronnie Barefield both of Philadelphia, PA and Tony Barefield, Clarksville, TN; brothers, Marion Phillips, Jr, Elpso, TX and Terry Phillips, Clarksville, TN and 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
