CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – May 16-22 has been declared National Safe Boating Week as the busy season of on-the water-activities begins.
Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett and Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan signed the Safe Boating proclamation April 8.
The proclamation encourages all boaters to wear their life jackets, know the “Rules of the Road” on the water, boat responsibly, and take a safe boating class.
