CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The students and staff at Kenwood High School dressed in orange and sported special T-shirts May 7 to honor assistant football coach Mark Wright, who is celebrating his first ‘re-birthday’.
Last year Coach Wright had a stem cell bone marrow transplant after spending the entire school year fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
The staff and students have been incredibly supportive and surprised the coach, who is also a media assistant at the school, with this special gesture.
