CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A veterinary clinic is searching for the owner of a dog that was hit by a car late Saturday night in Clarksville.

The Yorkie was wearing a blue collar with clear rhinestones when it was found on Dunbar Cave Road just after 10 p.m.

The Yorkie was taken to the Animal House Veterinary Clinic where it was scanned for a microchip, but none was found.

Its collar does not have any tags and initially it was in too much pain to be examined to determine its gender but the clinic says it’s a male and is now listed in stable condition.

Several people have inquired but so far, the dog’s owner has not been reached. Anyone who recognizes the dog should call Animal House at (931) 645-7757.

The clinic is located at 410 Dover Road.

Please share this on social media so this dog can be reunited with his family.
