Citizen’s Police Academy Accepting Applications

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department is now accepting application for the annual Citizen’s Police Academy.

The class will begin August 14^th and Graduation is set for November 5^th.  Classes will meet once a week every Tuesday beginning at 6:30pm, (First day will be at 6pm).

Applications can be picked up at Head Quarters or will be available on the CPD web page or by clicking HERE.

They need to be turned in attention Officer Greg Granderson.

The CPA covers all facets of the Police Department’s activities, from administration to tactical operations. Citizens are given an opportunity to not only learn about the Police Department functions, but also given a chance to participate in activities such as: police vehicle operations, firearms instruction, self-defense techniques, and use of force decision-making exercises.
