Last year, CZH donated nearly $8,000 to charitable organizations and volunteers because of their work at the Hunt. We are recruiting groups who can supply 10 or more volunteers for a Friday and Saturday (one weekend) in exchange for a sizable donation. If you are part of a group that may be interested, please contact us via email for more details. We have a memo prepared to send to interested groups.
Email resumes to Yow@clarksvillezombiehunters.com.
Applicants must be prepared to commit to each night we are open, through the six open weekends (September 25 through October 31).
When you submit your resume, please specify which position you are applying for. If you are part of a group that is interested in being Target Zombies, please explain what group your with and what charity (if one other than your group) you will be raising money for. (Note: your group does not have to be a 501c3 charitable organization to apply.)
Individual positions available:
Hunter One – The star of the show who guides the Hunt on the truck/trailer, setting the stage for the Hunt, running the microphone, sound system, and lights; must be a proficient public speaker, energetic, enthusiastic, people-person; no acting or similar experience necessary; will be trained during the summer.
Hunter Two – The supporting role, backing up Hunter One, must similarly be a proficient public speaker, energetic, enthusiastic, people-person; no acting or similar experience necessary; will be trained during the summer.
Target Zombie – While charity groups will fill the majority of slots for target zombies, we expect to hire numerous additional staff to fill gaps where needed. Target Zombies will wear provided protective gear, act as zombies when the trailers come by, and get shot at repeatedly…over and over…all night…for six weeks. With the gear provided, Target Zombies don’t get hurt and it’s actually a lot of fun! We encourage the TZ’s to act out and they love it. There will be an actor call in August, but early application is encouraged, as there will be an opportunity to work/train during the summer.
Zombie Wrangler – The Target Zombies will follow the leadership of the Zombie Wrangler, who will be responsible for coordinating, training, preparing, and otherwise tending to the actors each night. This leadership role is akin to an operations manager, where the Zombie Wrangler will be head over one half of the staff. Resumes should evidence prior work experience relevant to this leadership role.
