Frances Eleanor Key, age 82 of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Fieldstone Assisted Living.
Sykes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 23, at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sonny Kim officiating. The Key family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Sykes Funeral Home, and again on Monday from noon until the hour of service at the funeral home on Monday, February 23, 2015. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Frances was born in Montgomery County on May 1, 1932 to the late Almon and Thelma Barbee Watson. She served her community as a cafeteria cook, employed by the Clarksville Montgomery County School System. She was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Elfrey Key; brother, Cecil Watson and sister Agnus Watson.
She is survived by her son, David (Candis) Key; Daughter Pat (Gary) Weatherford; grandchildren; Scott (Wendy) Key, Pamela (Stephen) Bullock; Brent Weatherford and 6 great-grandchildren.
Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
