Marie Huffman Zachry, age 94, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Dogwood Bend Assisted Living.
Marie was born July 10, 1920 in Clarksville, TN, to the late Livingston C. Huffman and Grace Cooper Huffman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James L. Zachry.
Mrs. Zachry retired from the City of Clarksville after 43 years of service. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 21 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Pastor Craig Wascovich officiating. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Saturday, February 21 at the funeral home.
Marie is survived by her son, Jerry (Helen) Zachry of Clarksville; daughter, Joan Zachry of Nashville; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Zachry.
