Florence Elizabeth “Nippy” Selph, age 77, of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Clarksville Nursing & Rehab.
Funeral service was at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Kail officiating. Burial followed in Riverview Cemetery. The family received friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2015 at the funeral home, and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
Elizabeth was born May 28, 1937 in Clarksville, TN to the late Mannie and Florence Hodge Stewart. She was a lifetime member of New Providence Baptist Church and blessed her family as a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Selph; two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her daughters; Nancy Van Wormer and her husband Dennis, Rhena McWhorter, Tracie Swift, Bobbie Jo Hiatt and her husband Jeff; sister Martha Lisenbee; grandchildren, Dana McWhorter, Beth Martin, Justin Haggard, Jordin Swift, Haleigh Gill; great-grandchildren, Ian Pacheco and Brennan Dinser arriving in February.
Family and Friends served as pallbearers.
