Bobby Lee Goad, age 82, of Clarksville, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his residence.
Bobby was born November 26, 1932, in Nashville, TN, to the late Oscar Allen Goad and Alma Era Woodard Goad. He was also preceded in death by his son, Marty Goad and three brothers, Glenn Goad, Burton Goad, and Jackie Goad.
Mr. Goad was a retired home builder, a member of First Baptist Church, and a US Army veteran.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Dr. Larry Riley and Dr. John D. Laida officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, and from 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Dot Johnson Goad; daughter, Sharon (Rickey) Crain of Springfield, TN; and one brother, Tommy (Pat) Goad of Clarksville.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Goad, Danny Goad, Kelly Goad, Barry Goad, Brian Goad, and Johnny Goad. Honorary pallbearers will be James Thomas, Greg Walker, Jim Amos, and Bruce Johnson.
