Rose M. Mangino, age 78, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at her home.
Rose was born August 17, 1936, in Schenectady, NY, to the late Louis Sanchez and Angelina Friello Sanchez. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Anthony Sanchez.
Mrs. Mangino was a retired teacher’s aide. She was married at and attended St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Schenectady, NY, and recently attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, after moving to Tennessee. Rose was a 1955 graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Father David Gaffny officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Tuesday, January 6, at the church.
Rose is survived by her husband, Anthony Mangino; three daughters, Angela (John) Lee, Tina (Ron) Manzi, and Amy Didion (Rob Anderson); one brother, Mike Sanchez; one sister, Louise Law; seven grandchildren, Tony, Ron, Jonny, Felicia, Katrina, Nick, and Greg; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Greg Manzi, Tony Forhan, Jonny Russell, Ron Forhan, John Lee, Ron Manzi, and Kevin Kutch.
Flowers will be graciously accepted or in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 709 Franklin Street, Clarksville, TN 37040.
