CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The 4th Annual Leading Ladies Power Luncheon was held Thursday, December 11 and honored eleven people who serve their community. The event, hosted by Convenient Shopper Magazine, featured guest speaker Teresa King. King is retired from the U.S. Army and made history as first female commandant to lead the Army’s Drill Sergeant School.

Honored were Teresa King, Katie Gambill, Yolanda Morgan, Rosetta Perry, Dr. Toi Dennis, Rhonda Kennedy, Laura Payne and Celestine McNeal. Three 17-year-old Jr. Miss Leading Ladies, Ahauve Orusa, Lizzie Morgan and Terrishiell Stone were also honored.

Close to 115 people attended the event which included special guests Dove and Stellar Nominated Artist Wess Morgan, B.E.T award nominated recording artist Kebra Moore, Clarksville’s own Not Easily Broken and nationally syndicated radio show host Rick Joyner.
