CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Heritage Bank of Clarksville has announced the addition of Katie L. Gambill, President and General Manager of 5 Star Radio Group, to its board of directors.

As President of 5 Star Radio Group, Gambill manages four radio stations, two AM stations, 2 FM translators, and an online hyper-local news site called Clarksvillenow.com.

Katie moved to Clarksville in 2007 after a career with Clear Channel Radio in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She came to Clarksville’s Saga Communications as Vice President/General Manager for the 5 Star Radio Group and in 2012 was promoted to President.

Gambill serves as the Chair of the Clarksville Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Clarksville Montgomery County Economic Development board, and is the in-coming Chair for Aspire Foundation, the Economic Development Fund Raising Foundation for Clarksville/Montgomery County, Tennessee. She also serves on the Montgomery Education Foundation Board of Directors and is a member at large for the Tennessee Association Broadcasters. In 2010, Katie received the Mayor’s Citizen of the Year Award and in 2012 the Clarksville YMCA’s Volunteer of the Year. In 2013, Gambill was named one of Radio Ink’s 20 Most Successful Radio Managers.
