CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Clarksville mother is asking for the public’s assistance in locating her son, who has gone missing from a group home in Greeneville, TN.
Brandy Woerner said her 16-year-old son, Levi Darbonne, escaped from the Freewill Baptist Family Ministries Boys Home in east Tennessee Sunday night.
He was under evaluation at the group home for bipolar disorder and ADHD, according to Woerner. She is currently working with police to find her son. He may be headed to Louisiana, where the family is from originally.
“I’m scared because he doesn’t have the capability of rationalizing danger and he will put himself in danger,” Woerner said.
Darbonne has a prior history of delinquent behavior and has escaped in the past. He is one of two juveniles who were detained after escaping from a transport van earlier this month in Montgomery County.
Due to privacy laws, police and officials at the group home were unable to release information about Darbonne.
Woerner asks anyone with information about her son’s whereabouts to call 911.
