David Leaton Richardson, age 57, of Murray, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
He was born March 21, 1957 at the 7th US Army Hospital, in Augsburg, Germany, to Jim Richardson and the late Hilda Richardson. David is also preceded in death by his stepmother, Patricia Hancock Richardson.
David was an operations manager for the Murray Electric System and was a member of First United Methodist Church, in Murray.
Memorial service will be held at a later date at First United Methodist Church, 503 Maple Street, Murray, KY 42071, with Dr. Rick C. Rye officiating.
In addition to his father, David is survived by his son, Sam Richardson, of Murray, KY; daughter, Hannah Richardson, of Murray, KY; brother, Andy (Tara Peek) Richardson, of Nashville, TN; the mother of his two children, Donna Jones Richardson; and special friend, Kathy McNutt.
