DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirmed during a press conference Monday night that a human skull found in the woods in Decatur County is that of missing nursing student Holly Bobo.
The skull was found in Holladay, TN, which is 15 miles from the home of Zachary Adams, a murder suspect in the case.
Two hunters found the skull on private property while searching for ginseng.
Bobo disappeared from her home in Parsons, Tennessee, on the morning of April 13, 2011.
In March of this year, Zachary Adams was indicted on charges of First Degree Felony Murder and Especially Aggravated Kidnapping in connection to the death of Holly Bobo. A month later, Jason Autry was also indicted and charged with one count of Especially Aggravated Kidnapping and First Degree Felony Murder.
