CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Labels and Lights Production Company will host The Great Gatsby Art and Fashion Show Benefit from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 20 at the Customs House Museum raise financial support for ArtLink, a non-profit organization for Clarksville and surrounding communities.
ArtLink provides opportunities for artists of all ages to grow, promote, share, and develop their skills. Through the profits from the benefit, the group hopes to provide a facility called OneSquare to house various art events, activities, classes, and exhibitions of the artists in the community. It will be a free space in which anyone can come to make and enjoy art.
The evening will start with a preshow gathering and viewing of local artists in the art gallery staged in the museum lobby, along with some of Clarksville’s designers and boutiques including Couture Crush, Prodigy Salon-Boutique, Sacer and Savive Clothing, Madness Is, Fleur de Lis, and Outlaw Antiques. Guests will have opportunity to meet and greet artists and showcase designers, as well as purchase featured merchandise. Guests can also sign up for raffles and participate in a silent auction.
The runway show will feature local businesses and their fashions for the season. Musical performances and presentations from other regions will take place during the fashion show. Local musician Lydia Walker will be the feature of the evening. Several films will also be presented.
A complimentary buffet of finger foods and desserts will be provided for all guests. A beverage bar will be available with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase.
Regular tickets for the event are $5, premium tickets (second row seating and back) are $25 in advance and $30 at the door, VIP tickets (front row seating w/ gift bag and red carpet treatment) are $100 in advance and $110 at the door.
