Janelle Powell, 75, of Chapmansboro, TN, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
Janelle was born on June 28, 1939 in Stewart County, TN to the late Woodrow Wilson Mullins and Mattie Elizabeth Milliken.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Steve Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Janelle was an Educator for Cheatham County School System for 38 years. She was a member of Hilldale Church of Christ.
Janelle is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bobby Powell; daughter, Torri (Karl) Studtmann; two grandchildren, Maddie Elizabeth Studtmann and Mary Grace Studtmann; brother-in-law, Roger (Rose) Powell; sister-in-law, Kay (Ray) Atkinson; and her faithful furry companion, Mack.
Pallbearers will be Terry Hollis, John Pugh, Jeff Coleman, Jeff Martin, Steve Downs, and Aaron Robertson.
