CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Parks & Recreation DreamChasers program will provide another year of mentoring and afterschool programming for middle school and high school students starting September 2.

The program has expanded from three locations to five locations, including Summit Heights on Mondays at 3:30 p.m., the Kleeman Center on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m., the Burt-Cobb Center on Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m., the Crow Center on Thursdays at 3:30 p.m., and at 3:30 p.m. at Lincoln Homes on Fridays.

Dream Chasers is focused on reaching youth, ages 13-17 in a small group atmosphere. Teens can enjoy free food at each location courtesy of Mama’s Southern Soul Food & Catering and talk about their lives with mentors who can provide positive influences.

Due to the sensitive nature of the topics covered in this program, a parental consent form must be signed in order to participate. Dream Chasers also features presentations by guest speakers and sporting events.

DreamChasers is sponsored by the L.E.A.P. Organization, Clarksville Buffalo Soldiers, Clarksville Housing Authority, Mama’s Southern Soul Food & Catering, and Friendly Reminders.
