CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The intersection of Wilma Rudolph Blvd. and Dunbar Cave Road was closed for several hours due to a HAZMAT spill Tuesday morning.

Traffic was detoured and several times was at a complete standstill during the cleanup. The Clarksville Police Department, Fire Department, EMS and TDOT assisted.

According to Sgt. Charles Gill, a five-gallon bucket of hydraulic fluid was in the intersection and was run over by a vehicle.

The road was reopened at around 12:30 p.m.
