William (Bill) Wesley Edwards, age 80, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Christian Care of Cheatham County, in Ashland City, TN.
Bill was born September 23, 1933 in Williamson County, TN, to the late Hayes Edwards and Rosie Welch Edwards.
Mr. Edwards was a Navy Veteran, having served during the Korean War, and was a retired carpenter.
A memorial gathering will take place from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 23 at the Edwards’ residence at 3527 N. Hinton Road, Clarksville, TN 37043.
Bill is survived by three sons, Rusty (Velma) Edwards, Ricky (Vickie) Edwards, and Rocky (Lynn) Edwards; daughter, Sheri (Reggie) Durbin; two brothers, Hayes Edwards and Jimmie Edwards, Sr.; sister, Elizabeth Forrest; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and nephew, Jimmie (Charlene) Edwards and his four daughters, with whom Bill resided.
