Update, 8:31 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Montgomery County once again until 9:15 p.m.
Update, 8:01 p.m.: The Severe Thunderstorm Warning was extended to 8:30 p.m.
At 8:01 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of Clarksville, moving south at 25 mph. Radar indicated 60 mph wind gusts, and damage to roofs, siding and trees is expected, according to AccuWeather.
Update, 7:38 p.m.: A Flash Flood Warning has also been issued for Montgomery County until 10:45 p.m. “Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly,” said AccuWeather.
Update, 7:11 p.m.: AccuWeather has now issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Montgomery County until 8 p.m.
At 7:10 p.m., AccuWeather reported severe thunderstorms located along a line extending from Elkton to nine miles south of Russellville to 13 miles north of Cross Plains, moving southeast at 35 mph.
The thunderstorms reportedly have 60 mph wind gusts, as well as quarter size hail.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Clarksville-Montgomery County on Tuesday night that’s expected to run until midnight.
The Severe Thunderstorm Watch was also issued for Cheatham County, Dickson County, Houston County, Robertson County, Stewart County, among others throughout the state.
