Update, 8:30 p.m.: The roadway is back open.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Four vehicles crashed tonight on the Bypass, shutting down the highway.
At about 7:12 p.m., the vehicles crashed near 1379 Ashland City Road, according to a Clarksville Police news release. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
The Bypass is closed between Edmondson Ferry Road and Avondale Drive. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use an alternate route while officers work to clear the scene.
