CLARKSVILLE, TN – During the Tennessee County Trustees Association’s annual conference held in May, the TCTA honored Kimberly Wiggins, Montgomery County Trustee, with the distinct honor of the TCTA President’s Award.

The Tennessee County Trustees Association President’s Award is presented in recognition of individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary support of the objectives of the TCTA and who have gone above and beyond in service to the Association, its leadership, and fellow trustees across the State of Tennessee.

Wiggins is rounding out her eighth year as Montgomery County Trustee and is unopposed as she embarks on her third term in office. She currently serves as Chair of the TCTA Education & Sponsorships Committee, where she has worked diligently to strengthen educational opportunities and partnerships that support trustees statewide. During the Association’s 2026 conference, Wiggins also served as the Audio Visual and Technology Chair, helping ensure a seamless and engaging experience for attendees throughout the week.

In addition to her statewide involvement, Wiggins is recognized for her collaborative style, commitment to innovation, and dedication to public service. She remains actively engaged in civic and community leadership throughout Montgomery County and across Tennessee.

“Serving as President of this esteemed organization has been the highlight of my 24-year career,” said Glynda Pendergrass, TCTA President. “Kimberly was absolutely invaluable throughout this year. Her leadership as Education & Sponsorships Chair and her work behind the scenes managing audiovisual and technology operations during our conference were instrumental to our success.”

Wiggins added, “I am especially grateful for my team and their continued support of initiatives that positively impact both our county and our state. I also appreciate Stacy Brunk’s assistance with conference presentation materials that helped bring President Glynda Pendergrass’ vision for the conference to life.”
