Kate Johnson, age 96 formerly of Clarksville, TN passed away Friday, August 1,2014 at Preston House Assisted Living in Charlotte, NC.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday August 8, 2014 at Foston Funeral Home with the family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 9,2014 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Burial Concord Memorial Garden.
She was born May 18, 1918 in Montgomery County,TN to the late Rachel Pettus Allen and Nobel Allen. She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband James Johnson and son Billy Morris and grandson Eric Harris.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory daughter Paulette(James E.,Sr) Brown, Charlotte,NC; grandchildren Billy Jerome Harris, Indianapolis,IN, Lynita Cunningham, Clarksville,TN, Sherian(Neal)Ingram, Massapeque,NY and James E.(Trisha)Brown, Jr, Valley Stream,NY;great grandchildrens Eric Harris,Jr Hampton,VA and Nikolas Harris, Indianapolis,IN; sister Mamie Edmonds, Indianapolis,IN and a host of family and friends.
