Update, 8:45 p.m.: The 101st is back open. Traffic remains heavily congested on Needmore Road northbound, Kraft Street westbound and Providence Boulevard northbound.
Update, 6:45 p.m.: Because the 101st is closed between Peachers Mill Road and Whitfield Road, traffic is backed up on key roads all over the city. There is heavy congestion on Needmore Road, Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, Riverside Drive and Tiny Town Road.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is currently working a crash with injuries at 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Peachers Mill Road.
The crash took place at around 3:24 p.m., and it involved two vehicles, which included one driver being ejected from their vehicle, said CPD spokesperson Scott Beaubien. The driver has been transported to Nashville by Lifeflight helicopter, and their condition is unknown at this time.
Fatal Crash investigators are actively investigating the incident. Currently, the northbound lanes of Peachers Mill Road are shutdown, along with the eastbound and westbound lanes of 101st Airborne Division Parkway.
The crash is causing significant traffic congestion, and motorists are advised to seek alternate routes until the roadway reopens, said Beaubien.
