CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A second suspect has been charged in the fatal shooting of a teenager at a tobacco store on Peachers Mill Road last year.
San Quintin Maliky Lovell McFarlan, 25, was charged in connection with the shooting death of 15-year-old Ikehliayon Hite of Clarksville.

A Montgomery County February grand jury indicted McFarlan and Jay Von Kentrail Farley, now 22, on charges of first-degree murder.
Farley was previously charged with the homicide on Feb. 13, 2025, according to Clarksville Police. Details about McFarlan’s alleged role in the shooting have not been released.

Both men appeared for arraignment on March 9 before Judge William Goodman III at the Montgomery County Courts Center.
The charges stem from a shooting on Feb. 2, 2025. At approximately 5:42 p.m., police received a 911 call reporting that a teenage passenger had been shot, according to previous reports. Officers found Hite with a gunshot wound, and he was taken to Tennova Healthcare, where he later died.
Investigators determined the shooting occurred at Chum’s Discount Tobacco Store, 811 Peachers Mill Road. Hite was a student at Northwest High School.
The case remains pending in Montgomery County Circuit Court.
