CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Interstate 24 westbound was closed Thursday evening after a wreck near mile marker 8.
The Clarksville Police Department has responded to the wreck with injuries that occurred at approximately 5:26 p.m., according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien. Westbound traffic was being diverted at Exit 8, and the status of the injuries has not been released.
At 6:30 p.m., traffic was backed up past Exit 11. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route until the roadway can be cleared.
