Update, 11:10 a.m.: Detectives with the District 1 Criminal Investigations Division have charged a 16-year-old boy with aggravated assault in the shooting. He was taken into custody shortly after the incident.
There were two shooting victims, both juveniles:
- A boy sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the arm.
- A girl was flown to Nashville by LifeFlight helicopter and was listed in critical condition.
This remains an ongoing investigation, and additional charges are pending, Beaubien said.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Two people were injured in a shooting Monday night in the parking lot of Chipotle Mexican Grill on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
At about 10:17 p.m., Clarksville Police were called to the parking lot at 1806 Fort Campbell Blvd. in reference to a shooting that had already occurred, according to CPD spokesman Scott Beaubien. Officers found two people with gunshot wounds.
One of the injured was flown to Nashville by LifeFlight helicopter for treatment. Officers have detained one “person of interest.” No further information has been released.
Anyone who may have witnessed any part of the incident is asked to contact 911 immediately.
