CLARKSVILLE, TN – On Saturday, January 3, PostGrad Ready will host its first College & Career Boot Camp from 12:00–5:00 PM at the North Branch of the Montgomery County Public Library (435 Jordan Road, Clarksville, TN). This one-day event is designed to equip high school juniors and seniors with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to successfully transition into life after graduation.

The boot camp is free to students and includes workshops on college vs. career pathways, resume and interview prep, financial wellness, ACT and application fee support, and goal-setting strategies. Lunch, giveaways, and backpacks filled with college and career resources will be provided.

Founded in 2023, PostGrad Ready is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (registered as Clarksville Youth Development, DBA PostGrad Ready) dedicated to helping students navigate the transition from high school to college, the workforce, or military service. The organization operates in formal partnership with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) through a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), ensuring alignment with district priorities and equitable access for students across the community.

“We created this event to make sure students are not only ready for what’s next, but also empowered with the resources to thrive,” said Dr. Dametraus Jaggers, founder and executive director of PostGrad Ready. “This is about preparing them for the real-world decisions they’ll face after graduation—with hands-on tools, trusted advice, and practical support.”

Applications are now open for CMCSS juniors and seniors. Space is limited to 50 students. Apply at www.pgready.org/pgrevents by December 10.
