Clarksville, Tenn. – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Community Health Foundation has recently approved grants for two local organizations.
According to their website, the Community Health Foundation supports charitable, scientific and educational purposes designed to promote the general health of the residents of the area, and places special emphasis on those projects that focus on long term disease prevention and health promotion for residents.
The L.E.A.P organization received a grant that will be used to fund “Too Good For Drugs” intervention program for local youth, while the Montgomery County Veteran Transportation Service will use the awarded funds to purchase a replacement wheel chair van lost in a recent accident.
