CLARKSVILLE, TN – Historic Collinsville in rural Montgomery County announces its second annual “Pioneer Christmas Parade” on Saturday, Dec. 13, at noon.
Guests are encouraged to bring their own chair or quilt to observe the parade, which will include a visit from Santa Claus. Gates open for parade participants and spectators at 10:30 a.m. Coffee, hot chocolate, and refreshments will be available for sale at the property’s Wildlife Center.
No admission cost or reservations are required for spectators. Anyone who is interested in volunteering to help with the parade or has questions should call Kristy Proctor at (931) 551-6535.
A variety of entries participated in the 2024 inaugural, including classic cars, horses, donkeys, a dog team, fire trucks and police cars, church vans and floats, and Civil War reenactor groups.
Historic Collinsville’s 2026 season is scheduled to open on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The property is open other days and times for groups of six or more guided tours, camps, rentals, weddings, or special events.
