CLARKSVILLE, TN − Clarksville Parks and Recreation is preparing to wind down its summer swimming pool season, with changes in hours and closures taking effect in August and into early September.
Aug. 3 marks the end of the regular pool season. On that date, Beachaven Pool will officially close for the year, and will not reopen until 2026.
Beginning Aug. 9, New Providence and Swan Lake Pools will shift to weekend-only hours for public swimming as part of the extended season.
Saturday and Sunday hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. During the week, New Providence Pool will remain open for scheduled programming only.
Swan Lake and New Providence Pools’ last day of public swim is Monday, Sept. 1.
New Providence Pool will continue to operate for weekday programming through Sept. 29, as weather and temperatures permit.
New Providence Pool closed Aug. 9
On Saturday, Aug. 9, New Providence Pool will be closed to the public to host the Waterdogs Scuba & Safety Championship Swim Meet.
Clarksville Parks and Recreation extends a special thank you to presenting sponsor, Waterdogs Scuba & Safety, and contributing sponsor, Premier Medical Group, for their generous sponsorships of the Clarksville Flying Fish swim team throughout the 2025 season.
