CLARKSVILLE, TN − New Providence Pool will be closed to the public all day on Saturday, June 28, to host a swim meet for the Clarksville Flying Fish and YMCA swim teams.

The Clarksville Flying Fish, a summer league team for youth ages 7 to 18, is proudly supported by Waterdogs Scuba and Safety as the Presenting Sponsor and Premier Medical Group as the Contributing Sponsor. Their generous support helps make competitive, community-based swimming opportunities possible for young athletes across Clarksville.

The event is divided into two sessions:

Morning Session – Seniors (15 & up) and Children (10 & under)

  • 7 AM | Gates open
  • 7:30 AM | Warm-ups begin
  • 8 AM | Session starts
  • 12 PM | Session ends
  • 12:30 PM | Award ceremony

Afternoon Session – Ages 11–12 and 13–14

  • 1:30 PM | Warm-ups begin
  • 2 PM | Session starts
  • 6 PM | Session ends
  • 6:30 PM | Award ceremony

Admission is $3 per person. Each paid guest will receive a bracelet that allows for re-entry throughout the day. Our concession stand will be open during the event. Both cash and card payments will be accepted. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs for seating. New Providence Pool will reopen for regular public hours on Sunday, June 29, at 11 a.m.
